Lunchtime Menu

 

School dinners are very popular here at Wooldale. Our school chefs work very hard to make delicious food using fresh, seasonal and local produce. Some of it even comes from the school garden. Our current menus are below.

Quorn meatballs in tomato and basil sauce served with spaghetti and garlic bread

Homemade pie of the day served with new potatoes, fresh broccoli and carrots

Roast of the day with traditional accompaniments, served with oven roast and creamed potatoes and seasonal vegetables.

Cheesy bean pasta bake with homemade tomato and herb bread and salad.

Homemade curry served with wholegrain rice and naan bread.

Oven baked fish fingers in golden crumb served with diced potatoes and garden peas.

Assorted paninis served with salad.

Breaded Salmon fillet served with lemon mayonnaise, oven roast and creamed potatoes and seasonal vegetables.

Beef burger served in a bun with homemade potato wedges and sweetcorn and pea medley.

Jacket potato or organic pasta served with a selection of toppings and garlic bread.

Steamed sponge pudding and custard.

Jacket potato or organic pasta served with a selection of toppings and garlic bread.

Roast of the day with Yorkshire pudding, creamed and roast potatoes, fresh broccoli and carrots.

Spaghetti bolognaise with wholewheat pasta and garlic bread

Golden breaded oven baked fish with diced potatoes, sweetcorn and garden peas.

Oven baked Quorn sausage or Cheese Pinwheels served with creamed and roast potatoes, baked beans, mixed vegetables and gravy.

Homemade cottage pie with broccoli and gravy.

Cheesy tuna pasta bake with fresh bread and salad.

Selection of homemade pizza served with salad and homemade wedges

Cheese and onion pie with chunky chips and garden peas.
